What are the system requirements for your products?
You will need Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8 and the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0. If you want to use NativeBoardImport you also need the respective MCAD Software, e.g. Catia, SolidWorks, SiemensNX, …
Can I re-use the Catia V5 of NativeBoardImport (NBI) again for Catia V6?
No, each Catia Version has its own version of NBI. If you upgrade from Catia V5 to V6, we can offer you a special update price for the respective NBI.
Which ECAD Formats can be imported by NBI?
So far ODB++ Data can be imported, however we are planning to include GenCAD, IPC2581 and Gerber.
What ECAD information can be transfered with NBI to the MCAD System?
Components, copper surfaces and tracks, solder masks, drills and other surfaces included in ECAD package can be imported. Height information and layer stackup are being transfered as well.
Do I have to get a new licence number when I switch my PC?
No, you are able to re-use your old licence on a new compunter. Each product however may only be installed once for each licence.
Can components get replaced with real parts after importing to the MCAD System?
Yes- Depending on your settings you receive a MCAD-Part per shape, reference or part number. This MCAD-Part can easily get swapped within the MCAD System afterwards.
